Grounded in a practice of Fine Art Ceramics, these works explore weight, tactility, and the quiet permanence of fired material by embracing a balance of rawness and refinement. Texture is central to the work, where glazes, exposed clay, firing marks, and irregularities are celebrated not as defects, but as vital evidence of transformation, pressure, heat, and human touch. While materially distinct from her glass art, the ceramics share a foundational investigation into layering, vulnerability, and material memory through organic forms and restrained palettes that feel simultaneously ancient and contemporary. Furthermore, in keeping with a mindful practice, all ceramic works are intentionally created using environmentally conscious materials and processes wherever possible.

This is a set of twelve hand painted tiles, this piece can be purchased in sets of four, eight, twelve or upwards. They are beautiful for an indoor or outdoor installation, a splashback, a shower. Consultation on the artwork is part of the commission.

The following three pieces are high rised tiles. Normally unglazed tiles are used by architects to highlight and cover a wall, creating a focal point or statement piece. A mould is made to duplicate what is simple design work. My work looks to bring a fine art angle to that, in both form and coloured underglazes. My high rise pieces can be purchased as they are.
